Having a boyfriend who lives over 100 miles away is certainly not fun, though in the 6 months we've been together I've become very accustomed to trains :)
It's a good job I love train travel - and believe me, I really do love train travel. I think there's something very romantic about trains - it's a style of travel that, although has progressed a hell of a lot since it began, has been around for a long time, and a history geek like me just adores that.
Although I've been 17 (legal driving age in Britain) for a while now, I've never seen the appeal in driving - both because it costs so much and because I'm really quite content with public transport. I know alot of people fear it like the plague, and it's certainly quite annoying when it gets delayed, but I'm generally a fan. No matter how many times I travel by public transport - which I do, alot! - it always feels like an adventure.
How do you feel about public transport? Love or loathe?
I hope you all had a magical weekend :) ♥

I'm 21 and still don't have my license, which is crazy. But I like public transport too :)

trains are definitely a lot of fun. but some forms of public trans are not. like the greyhound bus system, it's pretty redneck usually :/

train is my favourite mean of transportation for long rides too! in the city I drive my car or walk, but for long traveling I hate buses and don't really like flying.
ah and about far away boyfriens, you really need to try hard! my telephone and computer are my best friends!

Thought I'd comment on this post as well, since I missed it. I've been terrible with keeping up with blogs since school has started. First, I love your pictures. And second, if I lived in the UK I would certainly be all about public transportation. I love train rides (my first time on a train was this past summer from Dublin to Belfast- so pretty). We just don't have that sort of excellent transportation here in the states, unless you live in New York. Which I don't. When I traveled to London in June, I fell in love with the Underground and double decker buses. =]
